Wicksteed Park always welcomes school visits!

We look forward to welcoming people of all ages to Wicksteed Park and we endeavour to make every visit as exciting and educational as possible.  If you are planning to bring a school group to the Park to use the rides, we offer HALF PRICE CHILDREN'S WRISTBANDS Monday - Friday during Term Time.  That's just £8.25 per child for a whole day of fun on the rides!  Coaches can park free of charge and we even give your driver a free wristband and a food voucher worth £5.00!  We offer four free adult wristbands for the first 20 children, and then one more free adult wristband for every 10 more children you bring.  It's not just the children that can have fun!

Along with all the fun of the rides and attractions, we also offer:

• Programmes of Study based on Key Stages 1-4.  There's a wide variety of topics on offer - art days, design days, story telling, a Victorian living experience and the new French Cultural and Language experience "Bastille Day" where the whole Park turns French!  To find out more information about our Educational programme then please click here. 
• We have worked with a number of local schools and Educational specialists to put together a range of  Lesson plans for you to be able to use prior to your visit.  We also encourage individual schools to develop their own programme of study using Wicksteed Park as the practical base.  If you would like further information, then please contact our Education Manager on: education.wicksteed@btinternet.com

We understand the complexities that all teachers have when planning an out of school activity and therefore we would like to offer our assistance wherever possible.  One such area is the carrying out of pre-visit  Risk Assessments or the gathering of risk assessment information, therefore if you would like more information in this area then please click here.
