'Kettering, Thrapston & District Angling Association' have the exciting job of managing the fishing at the Wicksteed Lagoon.  They are hoping to maintain the interest of Anglers that fish here at present and they aim to attract new anglers by improving the fishery by introducing fish to make it a good mixed fishery.  Both yearly membership books are available at £15 and day tickets will cost £5.

General information is as follows:

• There will be no night fishing allowed.  Fishing will be allowed from daylight to dark.
• Fish to be caught are tench, carp, good quality roach and perch, and pike well in to double figures.  It is hoped that bream will be stocked at some point during the summer.
• Day tickets and year membership books are available from Wicksteed reception, Gilders Tackle Shop in Montagu Street, Kettering, or telephone 01536 515547 for all information.
• Bailiffs will patrol the water regularly and payment can be made to them.
